I live in America, and I've always been amused by Skymall products. I don't actually know anyone who's ever bought anything from it though... I'm pretty sure it's marketed toward rich idiots

ReplyDeleteI myself am a SkyMall shopper, though I must confess I regret it now. I spent $250 on a cat litter box (not the same one on your podcast) that claimed to clean itself, and it was actually quite ineffective. I'll spare you the details. Suffice to say I'll never be so stupid again.
Also, I'd point out that while you do get a duty free magazine on international flights, SkyMall is not that one. The duty free mag should only have perfume, booze, cigarettes and Toblerone, that's why you take delivery on the items on board.
I assume you were being facetious and silly when you inferred that the flight attendants kept heavy Basho statues on board when you're lucky if they'll heft your chicken or fish entrée to your seat.
Very good podcast tho, keep it up!

Okay, good news, although I have no way of knowing when you had intentions of reforming TOTP as it only gives times :) Anyhoo, even if you don't, at least updating TOTP gold once in a blue moon would be nice, as it was meant to tide people over between episodes :D Still subscribed waiting for the new episodes, and this was one of my very first podcasts (I think the currently kinda defunt Engadget podcast was too, oh the good ol' days with Torrone).
