First Comment... Oh yeah!

I have not listened to the show yet but it should be great

Check out the maxnorman.net podcast at maxnorman.net in the podcast section. Only listen to episodes 3&4... they are the best!

Coool - great editing there. I almost sound like I know what I'm talking about. I'll let you know if I get any hate mail from disgruntled green screen using webcam vloggers.

Come back, John. Topics are getting...well...serious without you.

Rob and Conrad -- great show! I especailly loved annoyance # 1: motionless talking heads on video are about as useful as mimes on radio...

And now for a shameless plug: there's an article about the challenges of putting together the comedy vidcast 'Goodnight Hollywood' (which uses a green screen as it was intended -- for newsroom backgrounds -- and some very expressive talking heads) in the June issue of Podcast User Magazine, on our website sometime in the next 12 hours or so, technogods willing (www.podcastusermagazine.com). In the May issue, also available for download from that website, is a review of vidcasts by Colin Meeks for folks who want to check out even more.

Anyway, guys, thanks for a great list (even if it didn't include silly disguises!). From a fan of Rob and Jon and Conrad and Sandy,
L.

Number 11 in the feedburner chart: http://www.podfeed.net/feedburner_rankings.asp

What happened overnight?

They all subscribed to hear ME! They didn't come from my auidence I've only got about a hundred.

Linda, you've found a great vidcast that despite using green screen and talking heads is by no means annoying in any way. Goodnight Burbank, being a well thought out show proves that in the right hands any and all of this show's guidelines can be completely ignored.

I'm off to make a 5 minute title squence with my new webcam - I'll see if I can shoe horn in a naked woman in there too.

I was just going to ask the same thing! What happened? Congratulations, guys :)

please dont take this as a sign to continue doing shows like the last couple. bring back jon, because to be honest, i have gotten very little entertainment the past few shows. rob, your wit is wasted on the past few guests. you and rob play well off eachother, and that personality is why this podcast is interesting to me. sorry to be critical but im not just going to accept any old thing you put out there... hope you appreciate my honesty.

I must admit it wasnt something i was interested in (sorry), but i did listen to it (how can you learn if you dont show an interest). But like Jon and Rob often say, have a listen, if you dont like it then keep subscribing as there is always a show to suit everyone.xpgny

Is it just me or was the sound quality of the guest really bad? I gave up after a few minutes.

the person was skypeing, so to be expected. better than no show, and quality wasnt that bad.

as for the windows users having problems doing video podcasts, i use movie maker (no flashy cutscenes needed), export to wmv, then use a prog to convert to an iPod friendly MP4. I do a feed for each, 2 feeds isnt hard to maintain and the wmv feed gets a lot more subscribers. that might be just in my case though
