Rob and Conrad -- great show! I especailly loved annoyance # 1: motionless talking heads on video are about as useful as mimes on radio...

And now for a shameless plug: there's an article about the challenges of putting together the comedy vidcast 'Goodnight Hollywood' (which uses a green screen as it was intended -- for newsroom backgrounds -- and some very expressive talking heads) in the June issue of Podcast User Magazine, on our website sometime in the next 12 hours or so, technogods willing (www.podcastusermagazine.com). In the May issue, also available for download from that website, is a review of vidcasts by Colin Meeks for folks who want to check out even more.

Anyway, guys, thanks for a great list (even if it didn't include silly disguises!). From a fan of Rob and Jon and Conrad and Sandy,
L.

please dont take this as a sign to continue doing shows like the last couple. bring back jon, because to be honest, i have gotten very little entertainment the past few shows. rob, your wit is wasted on the past few guests. you and rob play well off eachother, and that personality is why this podcast is interesting to me. sorry to be critical but im not just going to accept any old thing you put out there... hope you appreciate my honesty.

Is it just me or was the sound quality of the guest really bad? I gave up after a few minutes.

the person was skypeing, so to be expected. better than no show, and quality wasnt that bad.

as for the windows users having problems doing video podcasts, i use movie maker (no flashy cutscenes needed), export to wmv, then use a prog to convert to an iPod friendly MP4. I do a feed for each, 2 feeds isnt hard to maintain and the wmv feed gets a lot more subscribers. that might be just in my case though
