Rumour has it Marilyn Monroe had six toes on the one foot, too... But don't quote me on that! ;-)

Stop letting your g***talia over-ride your brains. Yet I agree with Jon; Elvis has always been over-rated after he left the church. I'm almost done listening to the 110+ archives guys. Make it happen. Ciao!

She didn't have 6 toes but it is a rumor that persists...

I've done a bit of research on the fastest ever BPM and it's appears to be track called 'Burn Out' by Johnny Violent' apparently peaking a massive 20 million bpm. lol

Dont deafen your self or go mad counting the beats bazza :P while your doing your research.

Bazza said...

Apparently it starts at 250, then 500, then 1000, then 5000, then 10 000, then 24 000, then 48 000, then 250 000, then 1 250 000, and finally 20 million bpm.

I haven't been able to find a sample of the fastest bit though. There is a sample on that features the 5000 to 24000 range. A word of warning though if you decide to look it up, it does contain strong language.

Wouldn't 20 million bpm just sound like a continuous tone ?

I can't help but think of that scene in the Young Ones with Neil grooving to monotone that used to sound when the TV channel had gone off air for the night.... "Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...." ;-)

great show...although I thought her surname originally was Baker- was that her first husband then?
I knew most of these facts, being a film fan (old & new) but some were new to me, I'll definitely check out your podcast Melinda :)

It was "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" that Madonna parodied in her Material Girl video, although I'm sure Melinda has emailed you already, Rob...well done for knowing as much as you did though, I was impressed! You may not know Geography, but you know Monroe! x

Hi Diane!

Marilyn's name appeared as Norma Jeane Mortensen on her birth certificate which was her mother's current (2nd) husband. Although they broke up before Marilyn was even born. She was baptized as Norma Jeane Baker which was her mother's first husband. On her marriage certificates she used Mortensen. She didn't legally change her name to Marilyn Monroe until 1956.

And thanks for giving my show a try:)
