TOTP - Top Ten Celebs We Really Want To Listen To This Show

What really motivates Jon and Rob to Podcast is knowing that these ten people might well be listening to our show:-

  • 10 - Ozone and Turbo from Breakdance The Movie
  • 9 - Hurley from Lost
  • 8 - Edward Norton
  • 7 - Tim from Radio Clash
  • 6 - Clifton James
  • 5 - Daphne Zuniga
  • 4 - John Cusack
  • 3 - Mike Reid (aka Frank Butcher)
  • 2 - Gill Grissom from CSI (aka William L.Petersen)
  • 1 - Terry Silver from Karate Kid Part 3

If you know any of these people then please do us a favour and tell them about - we'll be sitting and monitoring the email account for one of these people to make us very happy. Imagine the look on our friends faces if we told them Terry Silver listens to our show.

I think you guys are celebrities, in a way. I mean, you have fans from all over the world who anxiously await your new shows each day. The only difference between you and real celebrities are that you probably have less money.

I haven't listened yet (saving it for bedtime) but I hope you mentioned his Highness of tartanpodcastia, Mark - now officially the owner of Scotland (christened thus at the Expo in California). He's a major celebrity now that he's my landlord !

BTW - nice new pic, Molly ! You're a celebrity too as the whole world now knows you as "The Lovely Molly" (c)- TOTP 2005 ;-)

Thanks, Grant! I still can't figure out why they call me that. Not that I'm complaining, mind you! :)

Great show and certainly some brilliant podcasts. I can also see now why they call you molly "the lovely molly" :-)

I'm going to have to watch that Breakdance movie you keep mentioning.

Grissom is da man. Horatio out of CSI: Miami is cool as well. Just recently got the first half of CSI: NY and I like that one as well, and not just because of Vanessa Ferlito. ;)

Seems like Libsyn has gone on strike again, we've got a show ready to go - just not a server. Sorry folkes.

Mr. T ain't dead, fools! He was on the radio just the other month schilling for Hanes' new "double tough" socks.

Hank & Eugene could do with doing a Thanksgiving update to their blog.
As could Toni Franzipan (even though he is such a busy Hollywood star these days).
Dons Johnson is soooo busy, he hasn't even started a blog. Now *that* is busy.

Hey, Jon, Con Air was a decent movie!

Edward Norton is from Maryland. Might have been born in Baltimore (one site claims so), but grew up in Columbia, MD. Which his grandfather, James Rouse, was creator and developer for. His company also coined the term "mall". He also helped revitalise Baltimore's inner harbor.

"Malkovich, malkovich...malkovich malkovich malkovich, malkovich"
(that was one weird movie).

if you ever need a server in an emergency, just host it on until the server folks play ball.

only one woman?! ;-)

what about carrie fisher? she'd be a great listener... (i'm not a sci-fi geek, I like her books). x

I'm a big Lost Geek-glad Hurley made your list(I'm on the Jack team) and Grissom is absolutely a must listener. Not only is he a cool 'dude', he is a big Chicago Cubs fan-Dusty Baker should have been on your list. Cusak is okay-but the rest of your list probably won't do much to promote your show in the US-never heard of them.

Cusack wasn't in Ferris Beuller :)

Funny confusion of John Cusack and Matthew Broderick. I really couldn't tell who they thought that they were talking about. I think that they were thinking of Matthew Broderick, but they actually listed some of John Cusack's movies like "Malkovich". Both are great actors, although Cusack in real life is a true Hollywood narcissistic blow hard.
